Point of Care
HUMAN provides a huge portfolio of tests and methods suited for the Point of Care (POC) ranging from rapid screening tests (RST) for a wide variety of indications to robust and easy-to-use systems for dedicated parameters.
Tests can be run with different types of samples (whole blood, serum, urine) and present an efficient and economic diagnostic tool in rural and POC settings alike.
The listed items are CE-marked and comply with the strict requirements of the European IVD directive. Exceptions are clearly flagged.
Anemia
Full blood count testing is the recommended method for diagnosing anemia in pregnancy. In settings where full blood count testing is not available, on-site hemoglobin testing with a hemoglobinometer is recommended over the use of the hemoglobin color scale.
