Endocrinology

Autoimmune thyroid diseases (AITD) comprise two main clinical presentations:
Graves' disease (GD) and Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT). Both are characterized by lymphocytic infiltration of the thyroid parenchyma. Both entities are regarded as organ specific and together constitute 30% of all cases of autoimmune diseases.

For the complete assessment of thyroid autoimmune diseases HUMAN provides ELISA and CLIA assays for TSH and thyorid hormones (fT3 and fT4).
